About Xelon

Xelon Limited is an independent cybersecurity and compliance consultancy based at Clanwilliam Square on Grand Canal Quay in Dublin 2. The practice is led by Managing Director Eoin McKenna.

Eoin has spent more than 25 years in Irish ICT, much of it inside public sector environments where a security failure carries consequences well beyond the balance sheet. His background spans network and security architecture across Cisco, Microsoft 365 and Azure platforms, and governance work across ISO 27001, NIS2, the Belgian CyFun framework and NCSC guidance.

How we work

Clients deal with senior practitioners from the first conversation to the final deliverable, with no account managers in between and no handover to people who were not in the room when the work was scoped.

Every engagement is scoped in writing, delivered against agreed milestones and documented to a standard that survives handover, procurement review and external audit. Public sector clients value that discipline, and we bring exactly the same discipline to a grant-funded review for a small exporter as to a multi-year departmental advisory engagement.

We are also honest about what we are not. Xelon is a consultancy, not a managed service provider or a software reseller. We design, review, advise and oversee. If your situation calls for a 24/7 monitoring service or a product purchase, we will help you specify it, select it and hold the vendor to account, but we will never be the ones selling it to you.
